Welcome to Room 170. Construction Technology is one of five programs we offer at our school. MSS Technological Studies program is a leader in Simcoe County. All of our professional instructors are specialist in their discipline. We focus on engaging students through real world, problem based learning. Students design and create individual and group projects that are fun, exciting and … yes, educational.
Our comprehensive facilities offer a unique opportunity for students to self direct their learning for meaningful projects. This encourages our students to become more responsible for their own learning and goal setting. We believe that students learn at different rates and self-pacing of personal and school projects recognizes the individual needs.
We develop student leaders that pursue their careers in apprenticeship trades, college programs and university degrees. Inspired by problem based learning, our students have become leaders on university engineering teams.
